Since 2016, Bronco Distribution has staked their claim in the competitive cannabis industry by offering smoke shops and dispensaries a hand-picked assortment of the newest and most popular products and brands.
“We like to give opportunities to new brands as they enter the industry instead of only focusing on the bigger brands. Smaller brands tend to be overachievers and to focus on innovation and bringing new products to market,” says Bronco Distribution owner Gustavo Pop.

Those in the industry, and even consumers, like seeing entrepreneurs come up with amazing products,” Pop says.
Being headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Bronco has the advantage of being at ground zero of the cannabis industry and having unique access to innovative startups.
“We pay close attention to the products and brands that are popular with customers in Colorado and try to cover as much of the market as we can,” Pop says.

Bronco’s in-house brands include Arsenal Tools which included torches and dab tools shaped like military rifles, Level Scales, and Afghan Hemp Camomile Wraps.
“Having our own exclusive brands gives us control over the product and the ability to ensure customers quality and value,” Pop says. “In developing new products, we look at a certain category and rather than reinventing the wheel, we figure out how to make a product better.”
Afghan Hemp Camo Wraps are a perfect example. Along with being made from Chamomile and Mate plants, and being nicotine and tobacco-free, the wraps are also self-rolling.
“They start curling on their own without the need to get them wet the moment you take them out of the pack, so they’re very easy to use even if you’ve never before rolled your own smokes,” Pop explains.
Among the lesser recognized brands Bronco actively promotes are Thicket all-in-one portable water pipes, Odor Buddy candles, which incorporate a unique ashtray lid, and the Boundless Terp Pen, a discreet breath-activated on-demand concentrate vaporizor with a sleek design and powerful ceramic coils.
Before you reject newcomers for not having the same consumer demand as their more well-known competitors, Pop says to consider that the niche brands sell well because customers are always looking for a good deal for their spending dollars.
“Everyone wants to get the best price, and that’s understandable,” Pop says. “With many of the larger brands, the margins are smaller, but there are many instances where we can give the retail buyer a similar product from a different brand that will give a good return and value.”
“We’re focused on bringing the best values to stores,” Pop adds. “For us, the approach is more about volume, so we make sure that the products we offer are ones that our customers can sell.”
Bronco keeps buyers up-to-date on the newest products and specials with a weekly email blast, and also mails out a monthly sales flyer to every customer, so there’s no need to waste time browsing a pile of random catalogs or searching the latest Instagram posts. Each flyer is designed for a specific state to note what products and brands are the best sellers in those locations. Bronco also welcomes walk-in customers at their Denver facility, and Pop or one of his highly knowledgeable sales team are always excited to give personal tours and advice on product selection.
