Holiday shopping is an early-bird game. The first place a shopper sees a deal and decides to buy it — guess what? That’s a product they’re not buying from the competition.

Today’s consumers are searching for the best deals and most unique gifts, but gone are the days of customers idly wandering the neighborhood or the mall and popping into stores. The smart strategy for retailers is to advertise holiday sales as much as possible: through in-store signs, yes, but mostly through websites and social media. 

Even if you’re not ready to roll out your landmark sale before the holiday season, consider offering smaller sales now to entice shoppers into your smoke shop or gift store. If they aren’t familiar with your brand, those sales can bring customers back to complete their holiday shopping with you in the months ahead.
