Keep Cool When It Comes to Storing Your Stash

There’s no need to horde your stash these days. But if you’re one of those who likes to be prepared in case of emergency, new data published in Forensic Science International suggests that the best place to store your bud is in the freezer.

Researchers in Italy determined that the amount of THC decreased in the samples stored at room temperature. In the first 100 days, the THC in the marijuana stored in both light and dark spaces at room temperature had degraded by 13 percent and 11 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, THC content in the samples stored in below-freezing conditions did not significantly change.
